Welcome
Come
(Step 1)
You’re invited to come and visit us at one of our services here at Kirkmont. Our worship services are designed for people at all stages in their relationship with God. We’re excited to meet you! bring yourself, bring your family!
Connect
(Step 2)
Once you attend Kirkmont for a while, you’ll be encouraged to connect further by joining one of our small groups. The goal of our small groups is to develop lasting Christ-centered friendships by getting together weekly, spending time in prayer and study, and just doing life together!
Care
(Step 3)
At Kirkmont, we believe you deserve the care of a church family. we aim to provide just that through meals, visits, prayer, and relationships. We’ll also challenge you to empower us to care for one another and the world through financial support and volunteering.
When we Meet
Sunday Mornings
9:00 & 10:30 AM
What To Expect
How long should I expect the service to last? Our services usually last about an hour.
What types of things are we going to do during the service? Let us put you at ease. Here at Kirkmont, we don’t embarrass visitors – we aren’t going to ask you to identify yourself in any way. Also, you are welcome to participate in the service at whatever level you feel comfortable.
While our worship services differ from week to week, in general you should expect a few songs to be sung, since many of us view this as a way to worship God; our leaders will say a few prayers; and we will have a message from the Bible designed to makes God’s words practical and applicable.
What do I do with my younger children? Children, even noisy ones, are always welcome in our adult gatherings, but we also have several other options for you. First, in the back of the sanctuary we have a “cry room,” a comfortable room for you to go be with your young child; you can continue to hear the service (there’s an adjustable volume control) but not be heard by others in the sanctuary.
If you’d like, we also have drop-off nurseries available for your infants through 3 years of age. We have excellent volunteers and paid childcare workers ready to care for your child. We have green and blue canvas bags in the Narthex, with children’s bulletins and crayons for use during the Worship Services.
Kids’ Church is available for preschool–5th graders during both of our services, and offers age-appropriate Bible lessons in a fun, kid-friendly environment. We invite all preschool–1st graders to Kingdom Kids in Room 130, and all 2nd–5th graders to Kirkmont Crew in Room 125. Kingdom Kids check-in opens fifteen minutes before each service. All children must be picked up by a parent or guardian after the service. The older Kirkmont Crew group will be dismissed during the service and picked up from Room 125.
Am I expected to contribute financially? NO! We don’t think it should cost you money to learn about Jesus and the church. Our offering boxes are available for those people who call Kirkmont their home church and who want to worship faithfully by giving a percentage of their income back to Him; these people also support the overall vision of Kirkmont.
