Education and Ministry Experience: I received my Bible and Theology degree from Malone University in ’02, and then my Masters of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in ’05. After serving in youth ministry in college and seminary I have been serving as an ordained pastor in the EPC since 2005. I’ve been here at Kirkmont since 2015.

Job Description and Vision: As Lead Pastor, my primary area of focus is planning our Sunday morning services, including the regular preaching. A big part of my job also involves making sure all of our various ministries and staff stay on the same page as we seek to follow where God is leading us. I have a passion to see us effectively fulfill the great commission through loving and caring outreach and intentional biblically based discipleship.

Personal: My wife and I met in college as Young Life volunteers and we’ve always shared a passion for doing ministry together. We were married in 2003 and are blessed with 7 children. I absolutely love playing just about any sport, going to the movies, my favorite TV show is "The Office" and I am a huge  Michigan Football Fan!

Education and Ministry Experience: I graduated from Cedarville University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in music and a minor in Bible. While there, I served on the worship team at my local church and became involved in the discipleship ministries on campus. I officially joined Kirkmont as the Contemporary Worship Director in 2017.

Job Description and Vision: My role at Kirkmont involves leading the music for the contemporary service. In addition to leading worship each Sunday, I organize the praise teams, select the songs, and lead the weekly band rehearsals. I hope and pray that God uses my role as worship leader to provide a means for our congregation to glorify God as they worship him through music.

Personal: I was born in Germany and lived there until 2002, when my family moved to Golden, Missouri. I met my wife at the beginning of my freshman year at Cedarville in 2013, and we were married in 2017. It’s been a joy being married to her, and she has been a tremendous blessing to me in my ministry. We have two kids, Ezra and Anna.  I’m a huge German soccer and New Orleans Saints fan. I enjoy watching movies, playing sports/working out, talking about theology, and eating just about any food (especially bread and butter). 

Education and Ministry Experience: I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry from Cincinnati Christian University and have spent the past two decades investing in students, families, and the local church. My ministry journey has taken me through a variety of roles—from Kids Pastor, to teaching English in Taiwan, to serving as a Youth Pastor. I’ve always been passionate about helping young people become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

Job Description and Vision: As the Student Ministries Director, I will lead our middle and high school ministries and partner with families to help students grow spiritually and relationally. I’m passionate about creating spaces where students are known, loved, and encouraged to live boldly for Christ. Whether it’s a Sunday morning class, a midweek gathering, or a weekend retreat, my prayer is that each student at Kirkmont would discover their identity in Christ and grow into a faith that lasts. My vision is to build a youth ministry that’s rooted in God’s Word, strengthened by authentic relationships, and focused on real-life transformation.

Personal: I am married to my amazing wife, Tiffany, and we have two awesome kids—Jonah (10) and Josie (6). As a family, we love anything outdoors: kayaking, beach trips, watching and playing sports, and chasing new adventures together. We also love opening our home to others and believe ministry often happens best around a table or a backyard fire. I also coach YMCA basketball and enjoy the chance to connect with students and families through sports.
